Job description: About part time job/internshipWe are seeking an organized and proactive Event Operations Manager to manage all aspects of our weekend dance workshops and events. This role includes planning, marketing, sourcing materials, business development, and serving as the on-site point of contact. The ideal candidate is experienced in event management, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about the arts.Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Organizing and executing dance workshops and events.
2. Coordinating logistics, including venue selection and scheduling.
3. Ensuring smooth event operations from setup to breakdown.
4. Developing and implementing marketing strategies.
5. Managing social media campaigns and promotional activities.
6. Collaborating with local media and influencers to increase visibility.
7. Sourcing and managing suppliers for event materials and equipment.
8. Negotiating contracts and managing inventory.
9. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
10. Developing partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
11. Exploring new venues for workshops and events.
12. Serving as the main point of contact for clients and participants.
13. Building and maintaining corporate client relationships.
