Job description: Role PurposeTo manage store look in the Cluster by adhering to VM guidelines and MockshopKey ResponsibilitiesFinance– Manage and allocate regional VM budgets– Develop BOQ and keep track and manage VM asset for the zone– VM to result in Increase in conversions and average ticket valueCustomer– Develop Vendor Base within specified financial norms– Manage Vendor relationships– Train and develop VM resources in the zone– Have a complete understanding of regional festivals and flavor and initiate/Adapt VM in the stores accordingly.Internal Business Process– Identify VM initiatives for slow moving/ excess stock– Liaise with HO Store Operations and Visual Merchandising team– Adhere to VM guidelines and Mockshop– Effective use and maintenance of VM equipment and display aids and in store communications/graphics– Closure of layouts with change in season– Execute major campaigns conceived at the HO– Conceptualize independent initiatives relevant to customer needsPeople/ Learning & Growth– Identify and groom potential VM specialists in the store– Keep abreast of trends in Visual MerchandisingCompetenciesFunctional Competencies– Knowledge of Photoshop/Adobe/CAD, Store Layout and Fixtures– Budgeting skills– Product Knowledge– Aesthetic Sense– Innovation and creative– Task Orientation– Confidence and DecisivenessQualifications – Reputed Design Institute like NIFT, IIFT, NIFD, FDDIWork Experience5+ years experience in VM, store design and Planograming (Apparel)
