Job description: Division / Department: Procurement and Supplier Management Location: Baddi Position Title & Grade: Manager/ Senior Manager Position Reports to : Purchase Head Team Size to be handled by the Position: up-to 6 members Job purpose/mandate Provide a brief summary of the overall purpose of the role within the organization; What does the role deliver Purpose of this position is to ensure: Plan and Implement Procurement/Sourcing Strategy against Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Receive and Review the Monthly Procurement Plan to procure items & services as per requirement Review and mitigate the risk in the supply chain by implementing the right sourcing strategy Crisis management to ensure the seamless management of supply of material Calculate and Update Lead-time, SOB, Safety Stocks, Reorder Levels, MOQ to control the inventory as per target given. Supplier Management to ensure the resolution of issues in the timely manner & achieve 99% of monthly plan. Import planning for timely availability of material for import vendors (start to end responsibility i.e. requirement to receipt) Leading a team and coordination with all internal stakeholder to deliver the Target 99%. Cost Savings Target through negotiations, alternate sourcing, VAVE ideas/actions. 100% compliance to Target / KPIs / statutory requirements /Audit observations. Specific duties and responsibilities Provide a bulleted list of key responsibilities. (Budgets and Costs handled, People Handled, Specific tasks etc) Planning & Scheduling. Sourcing strategy development and implementation Supplier & internal stakeholder management Import planning compliance to Target / KPIs / statutory requirements /Audit observations Supply Risk Mitigation – short term & long term TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED SAP MM Module MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point Functional SKILLS REQUIRED Strong negotiation skills Impeccable time-management Strategic thinking Understanding of risk management Relationship management Good financial understanding
