We drive software application design, development, deployment, and support for internal stakeholders and external users. As an IT Test Engineer, you will own the end-to-end application software validation and testing process for the IT Connected Care Product Experience team. Responsibilities include defining the test strategy for applications, authoring/executing test scripts that fully challenge defined requirements and managing/tracking defects that come up in the testing process. This role owns the creation of quality test documents in a regulated industry (test plans, traceability matrices, test scripts/results, and reports). You will be responsible for working with project managers to provide work estimates and status updates and will be expected to work in collaboration with the development team through the development and validation process.Medtronic is a leader in mobile technology and application development. Few companies have as many mobile devices and applications deployed that support critical business processes including connected health, marketing, and commerce. Our mobile development services are expanding to include Connected Care activities across the business to improve patient lives and experiences with Medtronic therapies. This role will focus on implementing Connected Care solutions that serve our patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.A Day in the Life

  • Demonstrate expererience in Mobile Application Software Quality Assurance with solid understanding of system validation and lifecycle design.
  • Define a test strategy based on mobile application requirements, may include manual or automation, include API Integration testing, functional, performance, user acceptance, and regression testing.
  • Interpret system requirements into test cases that include positive and negative test scripts.
  • Provide estimates for test effort
  • Create and execute test plans/scripts/scenarios
  • Work in agile methodology
  • Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and system/application function.
  • Author quality documents in a regulated industry.
  • Document user test scripts to cover end-to-end user requirements (UAT)
  • Log test results and collect test evidence.
  • Log, disposition, and manage defects.
  • Work with tools such as Polarion, HP ALM, Postman, Jira,
  • Use automated test tools for smoke and regression testing such as Selenium, XCode, Android Studio, etc
  • Facilitate testing meetings, summarize results, issue/defect reporting, maintain metrics and provide go/no go recommendation.
  • Generate test data for short- and long-term application needs.
  • Other Duties as requested

Must Have:

Regional Sales Manager - Gems & Jewellery (3-8 yrs) Kerala/Tamil Nadu (B2C/Retail/Channel Sales)
  • Experience with Agile Methodology in a QA Role
  • Experience with API testing Using Postman or Soap UI
  • Experience Using Polarion and ALM for test Management.
  • Strong demonstrated ability to work directly with technical leads and other engineers
  • Strong UI/UX experience
  • Mobile Apps Testing Experience
  • Aware of CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Automation
  • Experience with GIT and other version control tools.
  • Experience with SDET, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium for Mobile testing
  • Extensive SQL scripting background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Background in healthcare
  • Design/development of automated test cases
  • Generating and maintaining automated testing plan.
  • Develop, run, and maintain suite(s) of automation tests
  • Analyze results of automated regression suites and distill those results into bug tickets as needed
  • Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering quality paradigms and patterns
  • Automation tech script writing experience
