Job title: Sales Commissions Specialist with Accounting experience

Job description: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our organization as a Sales Commissions Specialist with Accounting experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to compute Commission & Bonus as per contractual terms for payment as well as Payroll Accounting. This role’s hours will be 11am-8pm IST and will be in office onsite Monday-Friday in our Bengaluru, Karnataka OR Chennai offices. Responsibilities: Handle all Recruiting and sales commission calculations, communication, and accounting entries. Computation of Commissions and Bonus as per contractual terms (Calculating corporate bonus monthly and post corresponding accruals and reversal entries) Collaborate and work closely with employees on queries related to sales commissions & bonus calculations if any Monthly Variance reporting on Payroll costs Managing advance register of employees Ensuring all advances are recovered as per company guidelines Support Revenue team in reporting – Payroll vs. Billing Understand, maintain, and improve month-end processes and systems to facilitate an efficient close Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: 4+ years’ experience in Global sales commissions calculations and communications. Experience in the calculations of commissions and bonus amounts for account executives for a complicated multi-tier commission plan Professional level or higher English skills Able to hold a high level of confidentiality around employee compensation Knowledge of Accounting to post the accounting entries for the Sales, Commission, PTO, Bonus, Benefits and Payroll Entries as well as the monthly reconciliations on the associated Liabilities Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions Ability to work independently and meet collection targets within defined deadlines Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Positive attitude, resilience, and a proactive approach to work Education and certifications: Bachelors of Commerce MBA Nice to have: SAGE accounting system experience CMA/CWA Proven experience in Project level accounting, preferably in a similar role for at least 2 years Payroll accounting experience
