Job description: Position Code: JOb Descrition: Research and Development (R&D) department of Tata Steel Limited, Jamshedpur is working on different aspect of environmental research. Water is the most important part of environmental research. Research on advance water treatment will be require for assuring zero discharge of water and to maintain environmental norms. Highly skilled researchers will be required for the execution of lab scale and large-scale research projects related to advanced water treatment along with waste management. 1.Idea generation and execution in the research area of advance water treatment, membrane science, material synthesis, project engineering based research project according to the requirement of the organization. 2.Lab scale and large-scale execution of research projects. 3.Managing and handling of advanced research equipment’s in advanced analytical characterization. 4.Managing and handling of advanced research equipment’s for synthesis of different chemicals 5.Collaboration with external agencies in the research projects. 6.Documentation of research finding, patent, paper drafting, report preparation, presentations. Skills Skill: Experience in advance characterization and water treatment methodologies-good laboratory skill & interpretation of data Knowledge in membrane science Experience with basic chemical processing e.g., synthesis of chemical Skilled in oral and written communications and presentation at all level of the organization. Other details ME/MQ Ph.D. in Environmental engineering, Chemistry, biochemistry, Chemical engineering, or a closely related field. 0 to 3 years’ experience will be prefer.
