Position Overview: We are seeking dynamic individuals to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for our South Zone operations. The RSM will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales activities in the designated region, ensuring revenue targets are met and exceeded. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned sales professionals with a proven track record in the express cargo, courier, and logistics industry. Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Vijayawada (Three positions available one for each location) Reporting To: Executive Director at Headquarters in Bangalore Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for the South Zone, in alignment with overall organizational goals. Focus on new Business development. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to maximize their potential and productivity. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure the team meets and exceeds performance targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region. Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaboration to enhance revenue streams. Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities. Utilize insights to adjust sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition. Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth by acquiring new clients, upselling to existing clients, and effectively managing pricing and contract negotiations. Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed to achieve revenue targets. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and superior customer service delivery. Monitor and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and profitability. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analytics for senior management review. Provide timely updates on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities to inform decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any stream; MBA in Sales and Marketing preferred. Minimum 7-10 years of progressive sales experience in the express cargo, courier, and logistics industry. Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, including managing a team of sales executives. Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics and develop innovative sales strategies. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets. Collections is part of this profile for Credit customers. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel within the South Zone region as needed. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong leadership qualities with a passion for developing and empowering team members. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges and opportunities. Languages Known- Proficiency in Spoken and written English, Knowing Local languages like Kannada, Tamil, Telugu is essential for better communication with Team and customers. Compensation Competitive salary package up to Rs 12 LPA, commensurate with experience and qualifications. (Last salary – CTC is going to the base of new package in offering).
