Job description: Job Description:What You’ll DoAs our Customer Reference Program Manager in Pune, Maharashtra, India, you will primarily focus on handling reference requests for customers and prospects, coordinating with internal teams to gather relevant information, and ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
Job DutiesYou will maintain a database of reference materials, including case studies, testimonials, and customer quotes. You will monitor and report on the effectiveness of reference and customer advocacy activities. In addition, you will assist with finding customers to participate in case studies, videos, slides, and webinars. With the ability to shape messaging and create compelling stories, this role will help bring to life the stories of our customers. You will balance telling high-level brand stories with developing problem-solution-impact stories that showcase the value of Avalara across industries and regions. What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management, accuracy, and a passion for communicating effectively (speaking and writing in English) are required.
  • Global experience and cultural sensitivity building and working across teams in other geographies
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer advocacy, reference management, or marketing-related roles.
  • You are self-directed with an unparalleled work ethic, yet equally comfortable contributing within a global team environment.
  • You have a proven track record of building and executing high-impact, high-volume programs at scale. Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to zoom out (see the big picture) and zoom in (pay attention to detail) are crucial to success.
  • You can generate reports in Excel using data extracted from CRM systems such as Salesforce. Learning and using PowerBI would be a bonus.
  • You have a high learning acumen. If you have a problem to solve and are unsure what to do, you will research potential answers and then ask leaders for approval.
