Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Product Development Technologist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving innovation, developing new products, and ensuring the continued excellence of our offerings. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to understand market trends, customer needs, and project requirements. Conduct research and development activities to create new and improved food ingredients, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and draw actionable conclusions to inform product development decisions. Scale-up successful prototypes for commercial production, working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration. Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and ingredient trends to inform the development of innovative products. Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to leverage expertise and resources for product development initiatives. Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and results, and contribute to the development of technical documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of Proven experience in product development within the food industry, with a focus on ingredient development. Strong understanding of food science principles, formulation, and sensory evaluation. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food product development. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
