Purpose of the Role: As the Manager – Supply Chain (Infrastructure), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain activities related to infrastructure projects. Key Deliverables: Oversee and manage the procurement process for infrastructure projects, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, and finance teams, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and cost requirements. Analyse supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, incorporating them into the organization’s processes and strategies. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in procurement and supply chain management. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred in Supply chain or logistics. Minimum No. of years of experience: 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the infrastructure sector. Technical Skill Sets required: Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and processes, with a focus on infrastructure projects. Proven experience in procurement and contract management for infrastructure projects. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in procurement and supply chain management.
