Job description: Your Career Palo Alto Networks IT People Technology team is looking for a talented HRIS Operations and Support team leader with hands-on experience with Workday as well as other HR platforms.. You will be part of a world-class people technology team that will help enable the Palo Alto Networks People Team and scale our people technology operations. As an HRIT Operations and Support team leader, you will be expected to oversee day to day team operations that include support queue management, project assignment, capacity planning, audits and healthchecks. Your Impact Manage and mentor a team of HRIS Analysts Work with team to establish effective processes around solution delivery and support Hold regular staff and 1:1 meetings with team, keeping team well informed of changes within the organization Conduct effective performance evaluations and help team develop within their careers Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model Develop relationships with business partners and other team leaders Communicate effectively with business partners and other teams to identify needs and propose technical solutions Understand end-to-end business processes and drive high-quality solutions that scale as the company grows Oversee design, development, and delivery of new solutions and functionality Institute and manage delivery quality practices and metrics Drive efficiency and effectiveness in support operations including regular reporting on ticket activities – Continually assess root causes for tickets to drive needed system and operational improvements to deflect future tickets Ensure production support issues are resolved in a timely and effective way Maintain knowledge of industry trends and and business developments Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change Solve customer problems, drive deep empathy and data-driven decision, with continuous experimentation to deliver for the customer Maintain an agile and nimble in approach while championing and foster a culture of growth mind-set, business centricity and customer obsession within IT Comply with and help enforce standard policies and procedures Ensure team follows best practices and lives the Palo Alto Network values Your Experience 10+ years of Human Resources technology people management experience or equivalent experience, preferably in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment Proficient knowledge of Workday (Workday Core, Advanced Compensation, and Talent) – Can configure business processes, conduct solution demos and write reports – Workday pro certification preferred Ability to think creatively, diagnose problems and co-create solutions with cross-functional partners Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), collaborative, and understanding of change management (across multiple organizations) Ability to work well through ambiguity, confidence in leading through adversity with a sharp focus on the eventual right outcomes You have demonstrated abilities to map user journeys, prototypes and write user stories based on requirements In-depth knowledge of the HR Domain and Business processes (e.g. Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Management, Time and Attendance etc.) Enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, by creating products that will make a profound impact on the user Familiarity with Agile (nice to have) Familiarity with JIRA (nice to have) Familiarity with ServiceNow (nice to have) The Team Working at a high-tech cybersecurity company within Information Technology is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
