Job description: Mission Statement We are looking for Competence Program Manager in Grid Integration (GI), which is a Business Unit (BU) at Hitachi Energy. The job location is Bangalore/Chennai, India but with possibility to work part-time remotely. Your responsibilities Responsible for competence development program management activities for Grid Integration Central functions and Product group. Tracks and monitors all the competence development programs for central functions. Support managers with organizing and scheduling FCA’s. Co-ordinate with other competence program managers to ensure alignment and avoid assessor scheduling fatigue. Track competency assessment status and support managers on new assessment updates. Facilitate new certification enrollments in alignment with manager and HRBPs. Drive the execution of competence development program. Support the execution of skills assessment for functions. Maintain assessor pool records for all functions in GI centrally in coordination with Hub/GPG/ CoC competence program managers. Periodically review assessor pool in alignment with Hub Competence program managers to plan developmental actions (training and assessment) Promote and communicate across functions the competence development programs and follow up on implementation in alignment with Hub HRBPs and BU Competence Manager. Provide support on competence development analytics as required. Periodically align with Hub/Product group HRBPs and other competence program managers to ensure one GI approach. Support GI competence manager with implementation of competence development programs across all functions and product groups to ensure one GI approach. Support induction of the new resources in GI, follow up and monitor the journey. Support the implementation of the Business unit and function/product group induction program across the globe. Track and monitor induction and developmental journey for relevant trainings for central functions Support implementation of BU HR Digital project. Your background: Bachelor’s degree in HR or similar qualifications 5-10 years of experience in area of HR preferably talent management Good planning and prioritizing skills Global mindset Good English skills (both written and spoken) Very good in MS Office with a digital adoption mindset Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
