Job title: General Manager-Plant HR-Manufacturing

Job description: Transasia Biomedicals is a leader in the IVD space in India. The rapid growth of the business has necessitated hiring a HRBP for Operations. We currently have five manufacturing facilities – SEEPZ, Daman, Baddi, Sikkim and Vizag. Founded in 1979 and now headquartered in Dubai, UAE, the company has over 1,500 employees globally. The company’s development is supported by a robust network of R&D centers and manufacturing sites across Europe, USA and India, by sustained businesses acquisitions and a global commercial presence (10 direct subsidiaries and presence in 100+ countries). The company develops, manufactures and commercializes a full range of Clinical Diagnostics equipment, reagents and consumables for hospital pathology and testing laboratories. Job Brief: To work with Operations leaders to develop business-appropriate HR plans and implement the same. Act as a trusted advisor, expert and resource person for HR capabilities. Direct Reporting and Key Internal Stakeholders: as outlined above Main Responsibilities: HR services to management and employees of the OPerations function – develop, communicate and execute policies, practices, and provide guidance on HR matters such as resource planning and acquisition, performance & development, career development and employee retention. Ensure integrity and accuracy of data in HRMS. Develop forward looking organisation plans and execute them in a timely fashion Derive training needs based on (i) performance appraisal data and (ii) career and succession plans and identify appropriate training interventions. Ensure delivery of training interventions and ensure impact is as intended. These training needs could be either skill or competency based, or both. Design and implement strategies to reduce employee attrition and monitor the same Develop and implement career plans Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. Manage the external environment through a set of factory HR resources. To ensure all Org Charts and JDs of non – commercial across all entities are intact and updated as per the business alignment. Provide advice and guidance to senior management on employment matters. Ensure recruitment by the TA lead of appropriate cost effective talent to different roles Manage employee headcounts and budgets and ensure adherence. Develop the proposal for benefit standardization across all entities to ensure the rewards related parity. To manage employee number and cost budgets and ensure adherence. Drive implementation and execution of core HR programs and projects for assigned business organizations. Build strong working relationships with business based on a strong understanding of the business, credibility, partnership and open communication. Participate in the development and implementation of the annual HR Plan in partnership with the Operations and HR functions, ensuring cross collaboration and support is provided in achieving the plan. Participate and contribute in identifying and building organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes. Participate in development of Total Reward programs across the board Develop appropriate employee recognition schemes and roll out the same Develop employee engagement programs for stakeholder groups including town halls and communication programs and roll out the same Proactively identify risks and plan for mitigation of the same. Roll out culture and climate surveys and monitor feedback. Resolve employee grievances Support in big transformation projects such as supply chain reorganization and ensure smooth and seamless transition resulting in targeted business delivery Requirements MBA in HR with around 10 years of HR experience as Generalist (Preferably MNC) Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Self-motivated effective time management skills strong attention to detail effective multitasking skills strong analytical proficiency Ability to work and build relationships with stakeholders.
