Job description: Position Title: Sales Manager ISBU North India Functions To Be Supervised Directly Front End Sales Summary Of Work Environment And Work Performed Perform technical and commercial sales and other related activities related to sales to drive business growth for TMEIC High Voltage Electric Motors and Medium Voltage Drives in the Oil & Gas /Power /Infrastructure /Energy /Cement /Mining /Metals /Water /Sugar and other similar general industries Specific Duties Sales of Motors, Drives and Electrical Systems for Northern Region of Indian market. Generate business, receive RFQs, prepare technical, commercial, price quotations, work on winning sales strategies to ensure getting orders to meet and exceed company sales targets, and also earn good sales margins to maximize profits, identify potential buyers, work on competitive strategies, develop Key Account Relationships with clients to ensure repetitive business for TMEIC. Territory Responsible: Delhi NCR, Uttaranchal, Haryana. To promote TMEIC brand value, create its awareness in market, participate in enlistments & vendor registrations with major OEMs, Consultants, and End Users. Lead and participate in road shows, seminars, and make technical presentations, prepare white papers and contribute towards information generation for growth of company. Receive RFQ, understand Technical and Commercial requirements, and make technical & commercial proposals clearly highlighting deviations using TMEIC’s IQS motor sizing & application engineering tool. Participate in pre-bid and bid technical and commercial discussions, negotiations and receive clear Purchase Orders from clients. Coordinate with engineering and rotating machinery manufacturing divisions in India and in Japan, make ordering data sheets, make arrangements to receive and deliver manufactured equipment, to buyer, make invoices, receive payments, manage interaction with customer for acceptance, as part of OTR process Frequent domestic travel in Northern Region, for sales activities Desired Outcome Develop & implement strategy to exceed targets assigned. Collaborate with all stakeholders including application team, project team, factories in line with company guidelines. Education Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience Essential: – B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Desired: – B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Knowledge – Candidate should have basic technical understanding & experience in Sales of HV motor, MV Drives. Skills And Abilities Proven experience of Sales of HT Motors, VFD Commercial acumen candidates should be well aware of routine commercial T&C including Incoterms, LC as well as competitor analysis like SWOT etc. He should have zeal to work in Sales. Excellent communication skills in English/Hindi & preferably local language. Basic computer skills word, excel, power point etc. Self Reliant but team player Experience 7-10 years of experience in Sales of HT Motors/VFD. Preferably candidate should have experience of handling Sales in Norther Region.
