Job description: Purpose The Deputy Manager in Financial Services plays a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and services within the organization. They are responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction in financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial stability and growth of the organization. Key Responsibilities Deputy manager is a team leading role, in this role a DM will manage a team of 12 Sales officers, which includes team handling, targets achievment, and more mentioned below, Lead and manage the financial services team in delivering high-quality financial services and support to internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement strategies for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support the organization’s goals. Conduct financial analysis and reporting to monitor the organization’s financial performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and oversee internal and external audits. Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure transparency and accountability. Lead and manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders. Stay updated on financial industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes. Provide leadership and mentorship to the financial services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any stream. 5 Years proven experience in Insurance Sales (Including minimum 1 year team handling experience) Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and audit processes. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel and financial modeling tools. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive financial initiatives and decision-making. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading and developing a high-performing financial services team. Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency within financial services.
