Introduction: As Client Reference Data Analytics Lead (AVP), You will play a critical role in the success of the Client Data Maintenance team through strong and effective management & leadership and the provision of skilled technical and analytical support, enabling the business to provide a leading service to other areas of the bank. As an AVP it will be your responsibility to drive a high value, business critical, data control function whilst maintaining high productivity, high standards in quality and to lead, motivate and develop your team. There will also be an opportunity to work on some technology initiatives and learn about the Bank as a whole and the offerings provided as the department expands. . What will you be doing . Support Head of Data Maintenance in building a best in class ‘Go To’ team for expertise and embed culture of ‘Right First Time’ across the department. . Perform extensive analysis on the Entity Data to drive meaningful conclusion. Create, present & explain complex scenarios/data sets & business insights to senior stakeholders. . Run various data analysis to understand the root cause, present trend & proposed solutions with data driven approach. . Support project activity, create time sensitive excel reports and ensuring UAT is carried out and completed successfully for new technology changes. . Identify issues and escalate to department head, ensuring any risks are raised in a timely manner. . Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Technology and Operations in order to champion or challenge policy and procedural changes as needed. What we’re looking for: . Experience required in areas like Reference Data Services, Entity Account Opening & Closure, Corporate Action . Understanding of Corporate Investment Banking structure and construct . Ability to perform extensive data analysis, produce varied data cuts and perform data remediation activities. Proficiency in usage of excel & creating enhanced excel reports. . Exposure to tools like Alteryx, Python, or data visualization tools to draw meaningful analysis. . Demonstrated experience in a transformational environment, delivering mission critical systems and operations to support a dynamic business. . Exposure to extensive usage of external sources to gather entity information & ability to trouble shoot out of box scenarios. Exposure to tools/engines like Quantexa, D&B, Company House would be added advantage. . Should be able to apply industry knowledge and suggest data driven approach to improve client data quality. . Exposure to driving and proposing process improvements based on data backed approach. . Understanding of the various systems used within the Bank and an ability to demonstrate adaptability in using multiple systems. . Ability to work with multiple stake holders & procure required approvals/information for completion of assigned task within expected TAT and strict deadlines. . Exposure of working with technology partners to come-up with improved workflows. . minimum educational qualification required is any Graduate with required skill set Skills that will help you in the role: . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changes in priority. . Understanding of business areas which the department operates and how connects to the wider firm. . Exposure to entity resolution platforms/Technologies like Quantexa would be an added advantage. . Exposure to team handling would be an added advantage.
