Introduction: The candidate will be part of the Global Distressed Debt Credit Trading team working for US & EU Special situations desks. The candidate will work closely with the global desk heads into providing them with research support covering US & EU corporates, track company financials, analyse financial statements What will you be doing o Provide analytical support to the US & EU Special situations desks o Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of company financials including covenants, ability to make financial projections for obligors under distressed situations o Track and maintain updates on company financials using credit templates and accordingly provide regular coverage to the desks o Take ownership of desk reporting activities and adhoc analytical requirements wherever required What we’re looking for: o CA/ CFA / MBA preferred o Education in Finance or Economics preferred o Good understanding of Financial markets with focus on fixed income. o Aptitude for self-learning – Should be able to demonstrate a self-starting attitude o Flexible to work long hours (when required), meet deadlines and be proactive o Ability to prioritize and manage large projects and take full ownership of assigned tasks. o Proactive in nature.
