Hybrid Working Structured hybrid role: At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: The role within BI first line of defence responsible for ensuring effective governance is maintained across key customer processes underpinning controls, to strengthen the control environment. This includes providing control business partnership services to the business which allow for targeted control focussed interventions to fix and/or simplify controls and assurance to ensure that customer needs are met by the process every time, so that BI is able to meet its regulatory & compliance commitments. We are looking to hire an Analyst on a permanent basis in order to support the CCO Markets agenda. The successful candidate is a proven self-starter with the ability to learn complex subject matter quickly, multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing regulatory environment. What will you be doing Candidate is expected to deliver but are not limited to: . The primary role of the analyst is to conduct surveillance to comply with CFTC EBCS (PTMM) requirements, by analysing trade data to confirm that pre-trade mid was delivered to the counterparty. This will be accomplished by performing a search of the listed Salesperson’s and/or Trader’s communications over Bloomberg Vault to find the chat where the trade was executed. If the analyst can identify the Bloomberg chat where the trade was executed, they will review to determine if pre-trade mid was provided and escalate to Markets BOC if non-compliant. If the analyst is unable to find the relevant communications over Bloomberg chat, they will reach out to the Salesperson and/or Trader, and if one is not available will escalate the finding to Markets BOC. . Resources will use TRT and its MI to manually match trades in scope of the control . Manually match in scope trades to parsed recaps presented in the TRT (where system has not auto matched) . Attach the e-mail recaps for in scope trades if available in Dodd Frank mailbox . Mark incorrectly presented non-orally executed trades as out of scope where identified. Note that this will require access to chat data to avoid reaching out to Sales and creating an unnecessary administrative burden . Use MI to escalate when recap is found to not contain PTMMM What we’re looking for: ‘ Excellent Eye for Detail ‘ Excellent communication skills ‘ Excellent in Power point presentations and advance Microsoft Excel ‘ Flexible to work long hours when required ‘ Excellent VBA / SQL skills ‘ Excellent Analytical Skills ‘ Aptitude for self-learning ‘ Thorough knowledge of Capital Markets and Operational Risk process ‘ Excellent understanding of the financial products across business (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives) ‘ Ambitious and Proactive in nature. Should be able to take quick decisions ‘ Should be an Excellent Team player Skills that will help you in the role: . 3-5 years of experience in Trade Life Cycle, Trade Recon, Back/ Middle Office, Regulatory Reporting experience in Investment Banks. .
